Landscape Architect Manager
Russ joined Neel-Schaffer in 2007 and has more than 15 years of experience.
A Landscape Architect Manager based in the firm’s Hattiesburg (MS) office, Russ provides a wide range of master planning and design services for municipal, university/college, and department of transportation clients.
Since joining Neel-Schaffer, Russ has worked on several master planning and feasibility studies for pedestrian/bicycle, university/college campuses, and corridors in Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana and Texas. Russ is a regular contributor to most site development projects within the firm, providing initial conceptual design, planting plans, irrigation plans, and also manages various other efforts.
Russ is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and is licensed to practice in Alabama, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and Texas.
Russ lives in the Hattiesburg area and serves on the Hattiesburg Downtown Association’s Design Committee, Piney Woods Conservation Group’s Leadership Committee and the University of Southern Mississippi’s Tree Task Force.
He enjoys spending time with his family in the many public recreation opportunities in South Mississippi.
