Greg joined Neel-Schaffer in 1995 and has more than 20 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager on a variety of transportation engineering projects.
Working out of the firm’s Murfreesboro (TN) and Nashville offices, Greg has extensive technical and project experience in traffic signal design and signal system timing plans.
Greg is certified through ITE as a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer. Among others, he has broad experience using Synchro/SimTraffic signal timing software. He has had project management roles involving traffic impact studies, intersection capacity reports, safety studies, concept and advance planning reports, circulation studies and interchange studies.
Greg led a team of professionals who developed the City of Nashville’s exclusive GIS-based crash record analysis system. He has also led project teams in the design of small and large-scale fiber optic coordinated signal systems. He has also managed the development of planning studies and design-level construction plans implementing citywide CCTV surveillance cameras. He has prepared numerous traffic signal designs for isolated intersections and sophisticated systems.
