Neel-Schaffer is providing design program management services for the construction of agricultural distribution centers being built around the country for Memphis-based Pinnacle Agriculture Holdings.

Among the services included under Neel-Schaffer’s management are civil site, zoning and permitting assistance, energy and fire code studies, survey, geotechnical investigation, architectural, structural, mechanical, and plumbing

Neel-Schaffer has provided services to date for 30 centers, including new builds and retrofits. The centers are located in Texas, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, Louisiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Georgia, New Mexico, Virginia, Minnesota, Iowa, Montana, Michigan, South Dakota, and Indiana.

Each center includes a warehouse with storage bins for fertilizer, an office/retail center, truck scales, conveyor systems, and tank farms for chemicals. The construction cost for a new-build, full-service center is approximately $2.2 million.
