Amenities abound at state-of-the-art range surrounded by nature
Neel-Schaffer provided civil site, structural, and electrical design services for the $3 project to build the McIvor Creek Shooting Facility at the Charles Ray Nix Wildlife Management Area in north Mississippi.
The project was a joint venture between the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks, the Mississippi Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks Foundation, and Winchester Ammunition.
The project broke ground in 2016, was completed in late 2018, and officially opened to the public in April 2019.
Amenities include a 15-station sporting clay range, two skeet ranges that include a trap overlay, a five-stand duck flush, a pistol range, two 100-yard and one 300-yard rifle ranges, and an archery range.
