Spurring economic development in Pike County

Neel-Schaffer was contracted by the Pike County Board of Supervisors to provide design plans for a rail spur, bidding and construction oversight for this $720,000 CDBG-funded project to extend the Indeck Energy railroad spur to include three new tracks near McComb.

The plans included geometric design of the rail, grading plans, permitting, coordination with CNN Railroad, and approval through the Mississippi Development Authority.
