Creating the good life at Renaissance ‘lifestyle center’

Neel-Schaffer provided design and construction administration services for the development of a 110-room, multi-story hotel with surface parking at the Renaissance at Colony Park lifestyle center in Ridgeland.

The scope of design services included the preparation of construction plans and specifications in accordance with the City of Ridgeland requirements. Plans were based on the building footprint furnished by Browning and Associates.

Documents included a site dimension plan, utility plan, a grading and drainage plan, erosion control plan, water, sewer, and drainage details and specifications. The construction phase services included site visits to attend progress meetings, review and approval of shop drawings, submittals, samples or other data the contractor is required to submit, assistance with responses to contractor, assistance with design of crawl space drainage plan, utility conflicts, wetlands permit, construction stakeout, and other construction-related items as requested.
