Joe Rungee tabbed to Fill New Role as Neel-Schaffer’s Tennessee Hydrology and Hydraulics Lead

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (November 12, 2024) – Neel-Schaffer is pleased to announce the hiring of Joe Rungee, PE, PhD, in the new role of Hydrology and Hydraulics Lead for our growing Tennessee operation.

Joe holds a doctorate in Environmental Systems from the University of California-Merced and has expertise in HEC-RAS 2D modeling, tool development, and process automation.

Joe will manage H&H projects, help grow the firm’s Tennessee H&H staff and pursue new clients and service lines in the H&H/Water Resources fields.

Joe is a Registered Professional Engineer in Tennessee and Kentucky. In addition to his doctorate degree in Environmental Systems, he holds two degrees from the University of Tennessee – Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, and Master of Science in Environmental Engineering.
