CE&I Project Manager


Jackson joined Neel-Schaffer in 2018 and serves as a Construction Engineering and Inspection Project Manager based in the firm’s Chattanooga (TN) office.

He has been involved in assisting with construction inspection for roadway, municipal and aviation projects. Currently, Jackson serves as the CE&I Project Manager for a $93 million TDOT project to widen a 3.4-mile stretch of Apison Pike (SR 317) in Hamilton County, which is projected to last into 2025.

Jackson has assisted with structural analysis and design of bridges through the Tennessee Department of Transportation Bridge Repair Contract. He has also been involved in the structural design for miscellaneous municipal and roadway projects.

Jackson is a Registered Professional Engineer in Tennessee. He is also a certified drone pilot and is available to use the Neel-Schaffer drone to take aerial photos and videos of projects and/or potential projects.

In February 2023, Jackson was honored at the Chattanooga Engineers Week banquet when he received the Philip J. Sutton People-to-People Award. The award is given to “an individual for their unselfish devotion to public service,” and nominees “must have made outstanding personal and professional contributions in service of their community, profession, and public welfare for the benefit of all people.”
