Tennis anyone? Neel-Schaffer helps city make big upgrade

Neel-Schaffer was contracted by the City of Brandon to help design, renovate and/or build several athletic facilities projects totaling more than $10 million in estimated construction costs.

Among the projects was a renovation and expansion of the Brandon City Park tennis facility in this suburb east of Jackson, MS.

Neel-Schaffer’s design services included four new tennis courts, lighting, concession buildings, restrooms, parking, and an open-air viewing pavilion. The construction cost for the tennis facility was $1.1 million.

Cal-Mar Construction was the contractor, and Weir Boehner Allin was the architect for the facilities.
