Neel-Schaffer Expands Marketing Leadership With Carrie Counts

COLUMBIA, S.C. (March 19, 2025) – Neel-Schaffer is pleased to welcome Carrie Counts, CPSM, as the newest Marketing Manager on our team. With nearly 15 years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industries, Carrie is a proven leader in proposal and RFP management, digital marketing campaigns, and data management.

In her role, she will work across our nine-state footprint, refining how we collect, organize, and manage marketing data to enhance our responsiveness to client needs and industry opportunities.

Carrie is active in the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), serving as the Palmetto Chapter Past President/Chapter Advisor and currently as the Programs Chair and Advisory Board Member for the SMPS Southeast Regional Conference. She credits SMPS for keeping her at the forefront of AEC marketing trends.

“Marketing in the AEC industry is unique,” Carrie said. “Having a network like SMPS gives us access to information, resources, and collaboration with like-minded professionals. We’re always developing new strategies and striving to improve, and SMPS helps me stay ahead of the curve.”

Carrie holds a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) designation from SMPS and earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Information from Limestone College.
