JACKSON, Miss. (December 16, 2024) – Neel-Schaffer is excited to announce Brian Adams, PE, SE, CBI, has been appointed to fill the newly created role of Bridge Practice Lead. In this role, Brian will oversee the existing bridge design teams within the company while expanding bridge services throughout the firm’s nine-state footprint.
Brian joined Neel-Schaffer in 2023, bringing 21 years of bridge design and project management experience. Throughout his career, he has consistently led efforts to secure major projects in competitive markets, driven by his innovative approach and readiness to embrace change, even when it meant exploring uncharted territory.

He has identified key areas for growth and improvement and is finalizing a plan that will optimize the available resources within our Bridge Practice to best serve our existing clients and assist in developing new business for the firm.”
Brian is a Registered Professional Engineer in Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Arkansas, Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Colorado, California, New Jersey, and Puerto Rico. He is a Registered Professional Structural Engineer in Georgia, and Utah, and he is an FHWA-NHI Certified Bridge Inspector.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Georgia.
