JACKSON, Miss. (December 28, 2021) – Neel-Schaffer, Inc., is pleased to announce that Korey Hardin, PE, SI, has joined the firm and will serve as a Project Manager.
Based in the firm’s Hattiesburg office, Hardin has more than 10 years of experience, including nine with the Mississippi Department of Transportation, where he served as a Resident Engineer, Project Engineer, and Engineer in Training.
Hardin is also a first lieutenant in the Mississippi Air National Guard, 172d Civil Engineer Squadron.
Hardin will serve as a Project Manager for Neel-Schaffer, managing a variety of design and construction civil projects.
“We are extremely pleased to add Korey to our team in Hattiesburg,” said Mike Essary, PE, Engineer Manager of Neel-Schaffer’s Hattiesburg office. “Korey’s experience with MDOT will be a great asset as we have several large federally funded projects going to construction this year.”
Hardin is a registered Professional Engineer and a registered Surveyor Intern in Mississippi. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Mississippi State University.
